Greetings from Country Dawn Quilting
Well it looks like we’ve seen the last of winter, it’s certainly warming up and we’re starting to think about Christmas, summer days and all the fun that entails.
We are excited to be getting ready for the big show on the Quilter’s calendar – the Auckland Festival Of Quilts – formerly known as Calico Christmas.
Not long to go now - the dates this year are November 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, same great venue - Auckland Netball Centre, 7 Allison Ferguson Drive, St Johns, Auckland. Admission $12.
So many inspirational quilts to see, demonstrations to watch and shopping to be had! This year we have Christine Stavrovska from Brother on our stand and we will be demonstrating some of the fabulous Brother products that we have available along with some great show discounts.
Show discounts will also apply for our Janome, Husqvarna Viking and HandiQuilter machines.
We’ll also have plenty of specials on our fabrics and kits and some really cute Christmas ideas!
If any of you are interested in joining the Whangarei Quilters bus trip to the show let us know and we will pass your details on to Audrey who has a short waiting list. You don’t need to be a member of the club to book a seat, cost is $65 for bus and entry to the show.
